A South Italian red-figure pelike from the group of the painter of Zurich 2661, each side showing a woman in profile to the left, her hair dressed in ringlets, wearing an elaborate open-ended sakkos, pendant earrings and a two-string necklace, details added in white, a wavy border at the neck, palmettes under the handles -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, second half of 4th Century B.C.
