A Luristan bronze spouted jar, the globular body with flat base, cylindrical neck with flanged rim, the spout rising vertically from a bulbous swelling on the body, then turning at right angles into an elongated horizontal channel-spout attached at the rim, the swelling decorated with eyes and a nose and surrounded by ten rivets with spherical beads, minor damage to tip of spout and neck -- 4½in. (11.4cm.) high, early 1st millennium B.C.
