Lot Essay

Andrea Palladio, (1508-1580), His architectural style was later to inspire Inigo Jones (1573-1652) and in the early 18th century Lord Burlington (1694-1753) and Colen Campbell (1673-1729). Hence the creation of the Neo-Palladian Villa throughout England.
