A deep bowl with foliate rim painted and gilt to the interior with four Immortals standing on board the Takarabune surrounded by karako, four further Immortals approaching in a smaller boat sailing through foaming waves, a flock of cranes in flight above, the rim decorated with chrysanthemums, peonies, prunus, irises and wisteria, the exterior with a continuous band of the Immortals attributes below a band of further flowers (minor gilt rubbing) -- 8½in. diam, signed Kyoto Yozan.
