An unusual George III gadrooned and pierced cartouche-shaped cruet on claw and ball feet, with central open-work scrolling foliate handle and fitted with five contemporary silver-topped glass condiment bottles with spiral twist finials, the front of the cruet engraved with a crest, bearing maker's initials and lion passant marks only, probably Robert Hennell, London c.1785, the bottle tops unmarked, the two plain examples engraved with the same crest as the cruet, two of the remaining examples pierced, the last blind-pierced - 8¼in.
