A mid Victorian walnut, marquetry and gilt-metal-mounted credenza, of broken D-shaped outline inlaid with boxwood lines and tulipwood band, the central glazed door and bowed glazed compartments enclosing shelves, flanked by rocaille mounts, on plinth base -- 60in. (152.5cm.) wide, 17in. (43cm.) deep, 41½in. (105cm.) high.
