A Shibayama-style silver and enamel globular vase with tall flaring foliate rimmed neck and mythical animal handles, inlaid in aogai, stained ivory and horn with shaped panels of egrets wading in a stream beside irises below prunus trees on a gold lacquered ground decorated in hiramakie and togidashi, the reverse similarly decorated with birds beside magnolia, the silver ground decorated in enamel with floral panels (some old wear) -- 8in.high, signed Yoshiyuki,wood stand.
