A gold lacquer square koro with bombe sides and pierced silvered metal cover on four feet, decorated in hiramakie, takamakie, scattered nashiji, pewter and aogai with two men holding a third back from falling off a bridge over a mountain river, a man in a punt among swirling waves, egrets wading among grasses, and two crows perched on a tree trunk before a sickle moon, with metal liner (some old wear) -- 3in.high, 17th/18th century.
