A large Chinese verte/Imari bowl painted and gilt to the interior with a roundel of peony in a jar below a wide band of chrysanthemum and grasses issuing from vases tied with ribbons below floral cartouches on a diaper ground, the exterior similarly painted -- 14in.diam., early 18th century.
