A Royal Pottery terracotta figure of Bacchus, his hair garlanded with vines and grapes, his right hand raised to his head, now holding a brass light fitting and wearing a lion pelt, standing beside a tree stump, on circular base stamped JOHN MATHEWS, ROYAL POTTERY, WESTON-SUPER-MARE, (fitted for electricty; damages), second half of the 19th century; and an associated square terracotta plinth with moulded top, the four panelled sides with raised wreaths on stepped base ( weathered; damages) -- 73¼in. high, overall.
