A make-up case used by Marilyn Monroe during the filming of Some Like It Hot, 1959, in which she co-starred with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. The wood case with front latch is designed with a separated interior compartment, a hinged tissue dispenser on the inside of the cover. On the bottom right hand side of the case, a hidden metal sliding drawer. Make-up stains are evident on the interior of the case--9 x 10 3.4 in.
