A leather bound script belonging to Lana Turner from the film for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. The burgundy cover is embossed Peyton Place and Lana Turner. Handwritten on the first page of the script Lana Turner 94 and A gift from Jerry Wald after completion of filming and before release - October 10, 1957; the script is bound with black and white photographs of Ms. Turner from the film; together with a 1957 edition of the book in paperback and a letter from producer Jerry Wald which accompanied the script, ...Just as soon as we have it in shape, Mark and I would like to have you see it.
