A small 18th Century brass theodolite, unsigned, with bubble level, draw tube focusing, cross hairs, telescope cradle(damaged), attached to vertical circle by twin supports with vernier scales over compass box with edge-bar needle and horizontal circle on four screw tripod in fitted case - 7½in.wide; a brass miners dial signed W.& S.Jones 30 Holborn LONDON, with two folding sighting vanes, silvered dial divided 10-360° and quadrantley, with edge bar needle and compass rose, the lid with scales and leveling bob, with bubble level and staff mount; and a mahogany cased French military surveyors compass, with compass needle and clamp, lacquered brass bubble level(glass broken), protractor and leveling bob on staff mount (3)
