A Dutch black and gilt-lacquer cabinet-on-stand, with a pair of cupboard doors decorated with courtly figures within a landscape, with pierced and engraved brass lock plate and hinges, enclosing a fitted interior of eleven drawers decorated with song birds, floral sprays and landscapes, on later ebonised stand with square tapering legs, the cabinet late 17th Century - 42½in. (108cm.) wide.
