A Victorian shaped oval inkstand on curved bracket legs, fitted with two silver-topped hexagonal glass inkwells and with a wafer box with detachable taperstick, the sides decorated with rising scrolls and moulded with vacant cartouches, the inkstand and componants engraved with arabesques, Henry Wilkinson and Co., Sheffield 1846, the underside impressed with a diamond registration mark - 11½in., 23.75oz.See Plate 1
