A shawl of bronze silk, woven with elaborate chiné scrolling flowers above a floral border, with knotted fringe in pink and black, circa 1854--70in x 68in, with a paper tag inscribed Silk Shawl, belonged to Agnes (Lithgow), Mrs Walter Osborne, who married in 1854, b 1834, d 1914
