An English porcelain tea and coffee service marked for Swansea painted in overglaze enamels and gilt in the Imari palette in tones of iron-red, black, green and black with a Japan pattern of lobed panels of stylised foliage on a red-ground within a diaper-pattern border, comprising: ten tea cups, four coffee-cups and nine saucers (slight damages) red printed mark and pattern number 259, circa 1820
