A George III moulded oblong pedestal coffee pot on a rounded oblong base with four ball feet, the panelled rising curved spout, bracket handle and domed hinged cover with fluted rounded oblong finial, the body bright-cut with a frieze of flowers, foliage, acorns, stars and trellis work with a horizontal fluted frieze above and beneath, each side engraved with an initial within a wrigglework oval cartouche, maker's initials probably N H, London 1793 - 10in., 28.75oz.
