A mid-Victorian burr-walnut serpentine teapoy, the hinged lid enclosing a fitted interior (probably later) on cabriole legs, cross- banded in tulipwood, with foliate cabochon and cherub gilt-metal-mounts trailing to sabots - 21½in. (54cm) wide.
