An early 19th century French or Italian marmo rosso oval bas relief of a satyr, after the antique, shown in the attitude of the dance, holding thyrsus and lion pelt, a panther at his feet supporting a thyrsus -- 10in. high, in a later giltwood frame with fabric lined slip.
