(indistinct), with a central panel of paperlace the centre applied with a open tome surmounted by a hand-coloured church, the book reads 'The Times/Advertisement/Wanted A Companion/to assist in/Domestic Arrangements/Morals/of pure unexceptionability/Manners/well-formed, & of strictest gentility/Her faith/must be orthodox/Temper most pliable/Good health & reference/quite undeniable', the opposite page depicting two doves in a tree guarding a nest made of dried grass, 10 x 8in., c. 1840-60.
