Three embossed and pierced paperlace valentine cards, all stamp marked Meek, one in original envelope with hand-written verse, another with a cork centre in the shape of a cottage, the verse reads 'Will you share my home/Love in a Cottage', the other centre containing a chromolithographic book, the hand-written verse above and below reads 'The Valentine Album./Containing 6 Portraits./You are at perfect liberty/To choose the one/Most-suited to your own/Individual Case', the book opens to reveal 6 chromolithographic plates of a goose, a peacock, a monkey, a cat, an ass and a snake, S. 4 x 2½in., L. 5½ x 3¾in., c. 1860.
