Five elaborately cameo embossed and pierced paperlace valentine cards, stamp marked Windsor, all with gilded details, one with fabric flowers, one elaborately cameo embossed and heightened in gilt with a gauze centre, opening to reveal a chromolithographic heart with hand-coloured lithographed centre of a woman writing, the verse below reads 'No blessing has the fairest life/Unless your heart can share it/But bitterest wo, were I your wife/O, joyfully I'd bear it!', contained in original envelope, not stamp marked, 5½ x 3¼, c. 1840-50.
