Seven small cameo embossed and pierced paperlace valentines stamp marked Wood, five elaborately cameo embossed envelope valentines, one depicting windmills and livestock, another depicting galleons, the rear containing views of the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, opening to reveal Cupid on a cloud firing his arrow, with gilded details and hand-coloured cameo embossed flowers, the verse centrally placed printed on satin, 3 x 4in., c. 1840-60.
