Two embossed and pierced paperlace valentine cards, both stamp marked Dobbs, both with applied hand-coloured floral details, one with an applied paperlace heart in the centre entitled 'Love's Faithful Tribute', lifting to reveal the words 'The heart has many a/resting place but only once/a Home', the other with an applied hand-coloured lily of the valley with a hand-written inscription above, 8 x 5in., c. 1840's; and another by Dobbs, watermarked 1804.
