A cameo embossed and pierced paperlace valentine card stamp marked Dobbs Kidd & Co., entitled 'Love's Telegraph', the centre applied with a heart-shaped garland of flowers, framing two cherubs sitting on a telegraph wire on eitherside of the post, with their conversation hand-written above, 7¾ x 5in., c. 1851-55; a cameo embossed and pierced paperlace card similar to the above, the centre applied with real twigs and grass forming a nest, the inscription reads 'Fly not farther for a happy home', 7¾ x 5in., c. 1860; and another.
