An embossed, cameo embossed and pierced paperlace valentine card stamp marked Mansell, in two layers, the central layer heightened in silver, the satin centre applied with two hand-coloured embracing cherubs on a cloud surrounded by a garland of fabric leaves and flowers, 7 x 4in., c. 1855-60; a paperlace card with a satin centre in the form of a harp, applied with hand-coloured flowers and leaves each bloom lifting to reveal the words 'When can I call you mine', the interior extensively inscribed by 'F.M.', to 'Elizabeth Carter, 5 or 6 Fleur de Lis Street, Norton Tolgate. 14/2/51', 8 x 5in., c. 1850; and another.
