A cameo embossed and pierced paperlace card, stamp marked Mansell the hand-coloured lithographed centre depicting a church, the front elevation opening to reveal a marriage service in progress, the printed verse reads 'Already have we pledged our vow/Our union now draws near/But when shall we be asked in church/Say, for I long to hear/And let not e'en an hours delay/Fair Valentine protract the day', laid down on paper, 10 x 8in., c. 1840-60; and five other embossed and pierced paperlace cards, two heart-shaped, one stamp marked Kershaw.
