Without these Articles none can be complete', an embossed and pierced paperlace card stamp marked Meek, the centre containing compartments representing the contents of a dressing case, each lifting up to reveal a corresponding virtue, for example 'Lip salve. Truth', 7 x 5in., c. 1840-50; together with an elaborate cameo embossed envelope stamp marked 'Windsor', 7¼ x 5¼in., c.1840-50.
