A finely engineered and well presented model Stuart No.9 single cylinder horizontal mill engine built by T.R. Little. Measurements overall -- 8 x 13¾in (20.3 x 35cm).
With blued steel clad cylinder, 1½inch bore by 1½ inch stroke, drain cocks and pipes, inlet and exhaust pipework and main stop valve, slipper type crosshead guide, eccentric driven feed pump and pipework, rope driven governor with counter weight adjustment with linkage and valve and spoked flywheel. Finished in green, red, black and polished brightwork. Mounted on metal floor with hand rails, channeled section frame and wood plinth, perspex cover.
