An unusual model governor for a 'Hercules' Water Turbine of circa 1906 built by H.Beech. Measurements overall -- 8 x 8½in (20.3 x 21.6cm).
With spoked belt drive pulley, crankshaft, gear driven watt governor and linkage, connecting rod, ratchet wheel and shield, ratchet dogs, (flange coupling to water valve not included). On cast bed, finished in green and polished brightwork. Wood plinth.
