A Victorian black slate and brass mounted mantel clock garniture, the movement flanked by reeded columns with composite capitals and modelled with classical figures, with inset gilt metal classical friezes, the upper part with balustrade galleries, with visible escapement and gong strike -- 15½in. high, and the matching ormolu mounted rotundas, each with foliate cast alcove finial, the domes supported by six corinthian columns enclosing a dancing Bacchante, on stepped circular plinths -- 14½in. high.
