A Japanese bronze ovoid jar and pierced domed cover with terrapin finial and on three feet modelled as logs, the body decorated in hirazogan and takazogan with two swimming carp among water, the eyes inlaid in gilt (part of terrapin's tail missing) -- 11.in.high, signed on a rectangular seal Izumi Seisho.
