A Louis XV style ormolu mounted boulle bracket clock, the waisted case inlaid in première partie with trellis and trailing flowers, with later cast foliate mounts, door group of paired putti, the English purpose-made conforming dial signed John Ellicott Exchange London , on a plaque between subsidiary strike/silent and two tune music selection rings below the brass chapter ring, the matted centre with false pendulum and decorated calendar apertures, wheat ear engraved border, the substantial seven pillar fusee movement now two train, (the musical train removed) with anchor escapement and foliate engraved backplate -- 31¾in. (81½cm.) high.
