A carved oak panel, worked with the Stirling crest and supporters, and the initials SAS, bearing a paper label inscribed This panel was said to come from Herbertshore Castle I suspect may in fact have come from Ochiltree Castle, which was added to by Sir Archibald Stirling of Keir, 1588 to 1630, the date 1610 and the initials SAS occur in the editions, Keir, December 27th 1922 A.S, 21½ x 14½in.
