An unusually large George III drum mustard pot with blue glass liner, leaf-capped and knurled double scroll handle, applied corded rim, and slightly-domed, hinged cover engraved with a crest surrounded by scrolling foliage, with an openwork shell thumb-piece, the body finely-pierced and engraved with a large eagle, a smaller bird and a hound within scrolling foliage, Francis Spilsbury, London 1772 - 4½in., 9.75oz. free.
