A plain drum mustard pot made to commemorate the "MUSTARD CONTRACT CENTENARY 1878-1977", with blue glass liner, scroll handle, and flat hinged cover with shell thumb-piece, the cover engraved with the Colman trade mark, a bull's head - 2½in.; with a matching plain Old English pattern mustard spoon, Edward Barnard and Sons Ltd., London 1977.
Colman's mustard is predominantly English-grown, by contract with local farmers. In 1977, when the 100th. contract was issued, Colman's presented each of their growers with one of these pots.
