John Cormack was the first ballet master at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in 1866. F.B. Chatterton was the lessee and manager of the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane from 1866-1886, and was responsible for inaugurating the celebrated pantomimes which took place there each year.
