An Italian giltwood throne chair, the pierced back with scroll cresting centred by grotesque mask above lotus carved uprights and scroll arms carved with bell flowers, the serpentine seat with floral tapestry upholstery on channelled scroll-carved legs joined by cross stretchers, centred by a grotesque mask, second quarter 19th century.
