A Katana with steel blade, bronze tsuba and leather bound shagreen hilt mounted with menuki modelled as figures in boats, the scabbard in black and light brown lacquer -- the blade 26½in. long, signed Moritsuna Saku, probably of Chikuzen province, 1558 (or possibly circa 1389).
