A Japanese sectional ivory okimono of a box and hinged cover carved as a pumpkin balanced on the back of a monkey, with a smaller monkey lying on the cover grasping a fruiting peach spray, the details stained black (chips to rim of cover, some fingers missing) -- 4½in.high, signed Yoshio sei.
