A large oval Cantonese dish painted and gilt with a central coat of arms and the motto Deo Duce Ferro Comitante within a border of standing figures holding flower sprays below blossoming trees in a fenced garden -- 20in. wide; and four smaller dishes en suite (slight enamel rubbing) -- 9¾in. diam, circa 1820.

The arms are probably of Caulfield.
