A 1:50 scale planked and rigged model of the French Naval brigantine 'Le Hussard' of circa 1845 with masts, spars, standing and running rigging and deck details including catheads, belaying rails and pins, capstan, hatches, gratings, deck-houses, two long guns in carriages and two carronades in slides, ship's wheel and other details. Finished in contrasting woods - 21 x 28ins (53.3 x 71cms). Stand; and a 1:75 scale rigged and planked model of the 'Toulonnaise' of circa 1823 with masts, spars, standing and running rigging, and deck details including anchors, catheads, gratings, belaying rails and pins, guns and other details, the planked hull finished in contrasting woods - 19 x 27ins (48.2 x 68.5cms).
