A well detailed static scale display model of the Norwegian barquentine 'Jutta' of Holmerstrand of circa 1890, built by K.Britten. Measurements overall -- 13¾ x 18in (35 x 45.8cm)
With masts, spars, standing and running rigging, full suit of furled sails and deck details including anchors, catheads, capstan, bilge pumps, deck rails, companionways, hatches, deck houses, belaying rails and pins, deck and sail winches, ship's wheel, wind driven bilge pump, two ship's boats and much other fine detailing. The hull has decorated bow and transom, simulated plating and planked bulwarks. Finished in green and white, mounted on a slipway, on inlaid wood base. Glazed case.
