A fine builder's half block model of the S.S. 'Elettrico' of Palermo built by Alexr Steven & Sons Ship Builders and Engineers Glasgow, Yard No. 306, 1887. Measurements overall - 13¾ x 75¾ins (33.7 x 192.5cms)
With deck details including carved female figurehead, navigation light, deck-lights, hatches, ventilators, deck-houses, with wings, engine-room lights, companionway and other details. Finished in varnish and black with gilded scroll bow and stern decoration (propeller missing). Wood mount for wall hanging.
