Lot Essay

The steel fully-rigged ship Yola was built at Glasgow by J. Reid & Co. in 1892 to the order of Milroy's of Liverpool. Sold to McDiarmid, Greenshields & Co. the same year, she was subsequently sold to Norwegian owners in 1910.
