An Arab jambaya of characteristic form, the double edged blade with medial ridge, horn hilt set on the outside with two 1912 gold sovereigns (worn), in original textile covered scabbard with large parcel gilt chape, pierced with foliage and inscriptions, the back with makers name (the textile with some wear) -- 14½in. long, complete with original cloth covered felt, the outside embroidered with an interlaced arabesque design and with parcel gilt and yellow silvered mounts en suite with the chape -- the belt 45in. long.
