An Indian circular lacquered hide dhal, the outside with four applied, pierced iron bosses, each decorated engraved with gold work and applied crescent decorated with foliage, birds and animals -- 20½in. diam; and another with four applied iron bosses each finely damascened with gold arabesques (crescent missing) -- 22½in. diam.
