An Indian matchlock gun, the barrel decorated with numerous double bands damascened with gold foliage, the muzzle and breech en suite, the latter with gold damascened calligraphy and date, wooden full stock retaining traces of gilt lacquered decoration (some damage), and iron ram rod -- 58½in. long; another, with a flared muzzle and breech chiselled and damascened gold foliate decoration and iron ram rod -- 74½in. long; and three others, two decorated at the muzzle and breech with gold and silver damascened boteh designs (all in poor condition) -- all approximately 73in. long, the first dated A.H.1201 18th/19th century.
