A Persian silver inlaid bronze candleholder of ribbed form decorated with rectangular calligraphic panels interspersed with foliate cartouches between running scrolling bands above shaped roundels containing figures among flowers on a foot decorated with further calligraphy and foliage (dents, old wear and section missing) -- 6in. high, 13/14th century.
